Madison Crescent Grand Opening Showcases
One of A Kind Destination.

43-Acre Mixed Use Village Featuring Upscale Retail, Offices and
Residences Officially Opens in Western Prince William

McLean, VA. [October 4, 2007].  Residents, neighbors and guests from western Prince William County and the surrounding area listened to local groups perform while enjoying picnic fare and the beautiful autumn weather at the Grand Opening Celebration for Madison Crescent (www.madisoncrescent.com) last Saturday, September 29th. Madison Crescent is a new mixed-use village at the gateway to western Prince William County located at the intersection of James Madison Highway (Rt. 15) and Lee Highway (Rt. 29) in Gainesville, Virginia. Madison Crescent includes upscale retail anchored by Harris Teeter, offices and residences by Miller and Smith.

"Western Prince William County now has a destination offering people a place to enjoy a concert or event in the park, meet friends for a cup of coffee, or find a relaxing spot to enjoy lunch," said John D. Rhoad, Jr., Managing Principal of RMJ Cevelopment Group, LLC, who is developing Madison Crescent. "Soon residents will be able to walk to restaurants and stores, helping to create a pedestrian-friendly, vibrant neighborhood."

The grand opening was co-sponsored by RMJ Development Group, Harris Teeter and Miller and Smith. The pavilion of Crescent Park served as the gathering spot for scheduled performances by Prince William Sounds, a barebershop quartet, Nen Daiko, a Japanese drumming troupe, and the Martinsburg Jazz Orchestra. Prince William County Board of Supervisor Wally Convington, whose Brentsville District includes Madison Crescent and Gainesville Supervisor John Stirrup both spoke at the grand opening and remarked on the many benefits Madison Crescent brings to residents of western Prince William County.
